Small day as focusing on building confidence

Really focusing on taking what appear to me to be decent set ups and sitting on hands to let trade work out.  I really have a BAD habit of bailing early on winning trades and riding losers until it's too late and realize it's a loser.

GS - Short off falling MA's

FFIV - 2 shorts, only 1 patience

On great entries, i have terrible exits, on bad entries i have worse exits.

BIDU - Bought the breakout but didn't exit quick enough on failure

AMZN - Short and had an amazing entry, my problem is the exit.  SIT ON HANDS!

EAT - Missed limit long so papered.  Learn to buy strength at market

PCLN - Great short lesson

GS - Lesson of the day on buying the pullback on strong rips

Real trades ended Red but papered well. Really need let trades work or not work

The trades:

CMI - lower highs so shorted but found out was basing

TUMI - Papered long but should have gone real, GREAT CHART

CF - Missed limit short so papered, GET IN TRADES!

BSFT - Stream liked it short but i jumped long

Potentially Great Day....but emotions ruined it

I know what my problem is, yet for some reason i chose to live in insanity.  Had 3 GREAT price reads but terrible exits and i got shakey.


BBY - I need to let trades workout and ignore my emotions.  Great short that i blew

BIDU - Runner Chase, great entry, terrible exit

CMG - Great short but bailed early.  Need to let trades work

GOOG - Lesson of the day to buy mini flags to previous breakout

Decent read on today

The trades:

MXWL - Nice lil breakout but wrong

LVS - Long consol breakout

NFLX - Short as rolling over

AAPL - Missed the bounce long off Rising 8ma

Ended day red due to lack of discipline

1 real trade (misstraded) and 1 paper trade (afraid to chase real)

CMI - Great reasons to get long but allowed to get stopped out

FSLR - Strong stock in a gapdown market

SEE - Great lesson on shorting the bounce on gap downs

Paper again today as didn't see any good setups

Ended day flat as took 2 losses and 1 gain

GS - Long on strength and top ticked

BIDU - Long off bounce and barely stopped

RVBD - Short under falling 200 MA
